Digital Multimeter YT-73080 YATO

The YATO Digital Multimeter YT-73080 is a versatile meter designed for making both basic and advanced electrical measurements with manual range settings. This entry-level model comes equipped with a rubber case for added protection against mechanical damage.

Basic measurements include:

Measurement accuracies:

For AC voltage measurement at 235 V, the accuracy of the YT-73080 is ±(2% + 10), with a resolution of 1 V. Therefore, the measurement error calculation is as follows:

• Measurement accuracy: (235 x 2%) + 10 x 1 = 4.7 + 10 = 14.7 V

This means the result for an indication of 235 V is 235 ± 14.7 V.*

For DC voltage measurement, an indication of 12 V results in 12 ± 0.146 V. Please refer to the instruction manual for additional details on resolution and accuracy for given measurements.

*Note that the YT-73080 does not have a true RMS measurement function, so the results reflect real RMS values for AC voltage only for a normal sine waveform.

Built-in functions include:

• Waveform generator for generating a rectangular waveform with a peak-to-peak voltage of 5 Vpp at approximately 50 Hz, useful for audio technology such as speaker diagnostics.
• DATA HOLD [H] for retaining the currently measured value on the display.
