The YATO Cable Locator YT-73137 is a reliable device for inspecting and locating wiring. It is designed to determine the path of a cable within a wall, identify network cables in server rooms, locate breaks in a car's electrical system, verify the order of connections in an RJ-45 cable, and assess the condition of a telephone line.
This device comprises two components: a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter connects to the target cable and transmits a signal with a frequency recognized by the receiver when the SCAN function is engaged. The receiver can capture the signal wirelessly from several centimeters away from the cable.
Immunity to interference ensures that the signal captured by the receiver is converted into clear audio without noise or crackling. The transmitter’s power enables signal transmission along the wire over distances exceeding 1 kilometer. Additionally, the receiver features a built-in jack socket for connecting headphones for discreet audio monitoring.
