CONTACT METHOD

To use the tester, simply apply the rotor to a live component. The display will show the voltage values, indicating the highest voltage range for the circuit under test and all lower ranges. For example, when measuring voltage from a 230V household outlet, the display will show [12, 36, 55, 110, 220], indicating a voltage above 220V.

INDUCTIVE METHOD

This method allows you to detect AC voltage in an insulated wire. To do this, simply put your finger on the "Induction Test" field and bring the tip close to the insulated wire. The presence of a lightning bolt symbol on the LCD display indicates voltage presence. This method can also detect a break in a live electric wire; the tester will stop signaling the presence of voltage at the break point.
