Setting the Planing Depth

Turn the dial to set your desired planing depth, which can be easily read from the scale around the knob.

Chip Extraction

The YATO planer comes equipped with a bag to collect the chips and dust produced during operation, but it can also connect to an external dust extraction system, such as an industrial vacuum cleaner. It has the option to attach either a bag or an external extraction system on both sides of the housing.

Support

At the rear edge of the base, the planer has a support that drops down when the rear of the base is lifted to prevent the blades from contacting the workpiece.

Switch Lock

The switch is protected from accidental pressing by a locking mechanism. The planer is activated by pressing and holding the lock button and then pressing the switch.
