The YATO YT-81441 heat shrink solder sleeves are designed for creating durable and waterproof connections for electrical wires. This set includes 30 transparent heat shrink tubing pieces that contain a ring of tin in the center and two rings of thermal glue on the sides, ensuring a robust seal.
This is a quick and easy solution for establishing a strong and waterproof connection for electrical wires.
Advantages of PE over PVC:
The YATO brand heat shrink solder sleeves are made of polyethylene (PE), combined with the optimal amount of solder binder and hot glue rings. Some benefits of PE sleeves compared to PVC are as follows:
PE sleeves are suitable not only for home use but also for outdoor conditions with low temperatures or in heated environments, such as under the hood of a car or near engine components.
The YATO heat shrink solder sleeves contain a proper amount of solder binder, ensuring a robust solder joint. The tin flows between the wires to create a strong and reliable connection. Cheaper alternatives may use insufficient tin, especially for larger cross-sections, which can lead to performance issues.
An important feature is the sealing adhesive. YATO uses a specially formulated hot glue that retains a certain degree of elasticity and does not degrade over time. In contrast, lower-quality products may utilize EVA plastic that might initially seal the joint but can deteriorate under varying weather conditions.
