The bevel allows you to set two types of angles:

• Longitudinal cutting angle: The head can be rotated within +/- 45 degrees. A scale with a ratchet makes it easy to set the head at common angles (0, 15, 22.5, 31.6, 45 degrees).
• Cross-cutting angle (bevel): The cutting head can be tilted up to 45 degrees. You can use the scale marked on the base of the table to set the angle.
