Clamp Converter YT-73092 YATO

The YATO YT-73092 is a universal clamp meter designed for both basic and advanced electrical measurements. This meter features measuring clamps that allow for non-intrusive measurement of AC current in a single wire using the inductive method. It makes it possible to measure currents much higher than conventional electrical meters without disconnecting the circuit from the power source.

Measurement Accuracies:

For example, when measuring AC current: 30 A. The accuracy of the YT-73092 meter for this range is: ±(2.5%+10), resolution 0.01 A.

• Calculation of measurement error formula: (measurement result x 2.5%) + (10 x resolution)
• Actual result including measurement error for 30 A indication = 30 ± 0.85 A

For AC voltage measurement indication: 235 V = 235 ± 3.3 V.
For DC voltage measurement indication: 12 V = 12 ± 0.116 V.

Built-in Functions:

• TRUE RMS - Displays the true rms value of AC voltages. This is particularly important in circuits incorporating switching power supplies, motor inverter drives, and HVAC systems.
• NCV - Non-contact AC voltage detection allows the meter to detect voltage presence in insulated wires.
• LowZ - Measures AC and DC voltages in low impedance mode to eliminate ghost voltage effects during diagnostics.
• V.F.C. - A low-pass filter helps in measuring voltages from electric motor controllers, filtering out high-frequency noise.
• AUTO - Automatic measurement range adjustment ensures optimal results without risk of device damage.
• SEL - Changes measurement modes, e.g., from AC to DC voltage.

Attention:

Current measurement using clamp meters should be conducted only on a single conductor. Fastening the clamps on a multi-conductor cable without isolating a single wire may yield incorrect results or zero current flow.
