The YATO YT-82460 soldering station offers a comprehensive solution for soldering tasks with its digital LED display, temperature control, and stabilization features. This multi-functional station is designed with a flask stand, space for a spool of solder, and an included brass tip cleaner. The station supports a soldering flask equipped with a built-in ceramic heater suitable for the popular 900M series interchangeable tips. With its high power output and essential functionalities, this soldering station is ideal for both beginners and hobbyists alike.
The YT-82460 soldering station is built using ESD-safe technology, ensuring that no excess electrostatic charge accumulates on the housing, which helps prevent damage to sensitive SMD components. It heats up to an operating temperature of 350°C in about 30 seconds.
The Temperature Stabilization function maintains the set temperature of the soldering tip even under varying heat demands, ensuring the creation of proper solder joints. Depending on the size of the soldering element, the soldering tip emits varying amounts of heat, and the built-in temperature sensor continually monitors the tip's actual temperature, adjusting power consumption as needed to maintain the set temperature. For optimal results, select a blade with an inside diameter as close as possible to the heater's diameter. We recommend tips with an inside diameter in the range of 4.0 to 4.5 mm.
The hibernation function allows the station to enter standby mode, automatically reducing the working temperature to 200°C, which prevents unnecessary heating of the tip and significantly extends its lifespan. The hibernation activation time on the YT-82460 model is factory-set to 10 minutes.
