The YATO YT-73091 Digital Clamp Meter is a versatile tool designed to perform basic electrical measurements with ease. Equipped with measuring clamps, it enables users to measure AC current in a single wire inductively without disconnecting the circuit or power source, allowing for higher current measurements compared to traditional meters.
Basic measurements include:
Additional measurements include:
Measurement accuracies:
For example, when measuring AC current, if the measurement result is 30 A, the accuracy of the YT-73091 in this range is ±(2.5% + 5), with a resolution of 0.1 A. The calculation for measurement error is as follows:
This means that the measurement result of 30 A would be 30 ± 1.25 A.
For DC voltage measurement of 12 V, the result would be 12 ± 0.106 V.
Refer to the user's manual for detailed tables of resolution and accuracy for each measurement.
Note: The YT-73091 does not feature true RMS measurement, so results represent the real RMS values of AC voltage and current for normal sinusoidal waveforms only.

Additional information:
Warning: Measuring current with clamp meters should only be done on a single conductor. Clamping on multi-conductor cables without isolating a single conductor will yield incorrect or zero results.
