Inductive Xenon Timing Light YT-7310 YATO

The YATO Stroboscopic Tube YT-7310 is an essential tool for mechanics and automotive specialists, designed to check and adjust the ignition timing in gasoline engines. This high-performance device not only enhances engine efficiency but also minimizes fuel consumption.

The lamp housing is constructed in the form of a plastic gun and contains a xenon lamp with an electronic triggering system. Additionally, it features a simple optical system comprising a focusing lens and reflector. The lamp's operation is synchronized with the ignition system of the vehicle and receives power from the car battery.

This stroboscopic lamp is indispensable for accurately setting the ignition advance angle, which is crucial for achieving optimal engine performance. The correct timing ensures that the air-fuel mixture ignites at just the right moment, maximizing power output while minimizing fuel wastage. The timing is determined in degrees relative to the Top Dead Center (TDC) of the piston. Using the stroboscopic light in conjunction with the degree scale marked on the clutch housing allows for precise adjustments while the engine runs.
