The YATO YT-2346 Spray Gun with a 1L Fluid Cup and a 1.8mm nozzle is designed for precise paint applications. This high-quality spray gun utilizes compressed air to mix paint and deliver an even coating, making it ideal for various painting tasks.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Getting Started
Use a wrench to tighten the nozzle. Ensure the connections of the compressed air supply system are secure. Blow out the supply hose with air before connecting it. Prior to use, check that the spray gun has been cleaned and maintained properly, and confirm that the fluid cup is attached securely to prevent leaks.
Adjusting the Width of the Spray Jet
By rotating the air nozzle, you can change the width and shape of the spray jet infinitely, from flat to round as needed. The coating material adjustment knob regulates the amount of coating material flowing into the air stream, while the spray adjustment knob controls the intensity of the air-coating material mixture. Adjusting to achieve smaller particles will provide better material distribution on the surface.
Working with the Gun
Maintain a distance of 10 to 15 cm between the gun outlet and the surface being coated, and keep the gun perpendicular to the surface. Avoid curved movements to ensure an even application. It is preferable to apply multiple thin layers rather than one thick coat.
Adjusting Air Flow
Depending on the coating material, adjust the air pressure using the air pressure control knob.
Replacing the Nozzle
When replacing the nozzle, ensure that the complete nozzle set is changed, including the coating material nozzle, needle, and air nozzle.
Needle Seal
Regularly inspect the tightness of the needle seal. If there is significant wear, replace the seal during routine maintenance by detaching the seal assembly with a wrench.
Cleaning and Maintenance
After use, disconnect the spray gun from the compressed air system and empty the fluid cup of any remaining paint. Clean the cup thoroughly, and ensure all coating material paths are free of residue, as inadequate cleaning will impair performance. Use a brush with solvent to clean the air nozzle, but do not immerse the entire gun in solvent. Avoid using hard objects to unclog orifices, as this can damage internal components. After cleaning, apply a small amount of lubricant to the moving parts. Ensure the coating material nozzle is tightened just enough to prevent leaks while allowing smooth needle movement.
