Product Characteristics: The BIOTERM Window Thermometer (model code: 020502) is designed for easy installation, allowing it to be either nailed or glued to your window. It features specialized tips with adhesive tape that enable secure attachment without the need for drilling holes, making it suitable for window frames made from plastic, aluminum, or wood. Additionally, the holder has a hole for screws, providing an extra fastening option. The thermometer scale is printed on a cardboard backing and is encased in a glass tube, capped at both ends with plastic caps.

Thermometric fluid: Consists of a toluene mixture (used as a solvent) with naphtha and dye.

Usage: The thermometers can be mounted on either the right or left side of the window, typically secured to the frame. Note: It is recommended to install the thermometer in a location that is not exposed to direct sunlight, as excessive exposure can cause fading of the print on the backing. In summer, direct sunlight may increase the temperature to over 50°C, causing the fluid to expand and potentially break the capillary.
