How it Works: This torque wrench resembles a ratchet, but its primary distinction is the scale that indicates the applied force on the nut. The scale is engraved, and the “click” serves as an indicator when the required force is reached.
Important to Know: Do not use the torque wrench as a regular wrench to ensure its longevity, as wear and tear of the tool is inevitable. Always reset the handle back to the zero position after use. Inside the wrench are springs that compress during tightening, and if left in a compressed position for too long, it will lose its properties, which will lead to an increase in error (approximately 4%) during use.
