The Tire Repair Cord Set, ROCKFORCE RF-STK-25B, is designed for quick and efficient repair of small punctures in all types of tires. Highly suitable for tubeless tire repairs, it is popular among tire repair specialists. The high strength of synthetic fibers facilitates easy insertion of the cord into the tire, while a special air-tight rubber impregnation securely seals the damage. For easier installation, the cords can be coated with glue; however, adhesive application is not mandatory.
Prominent manufacturers of this product advise that these cords are intended for temporary repairs, as they seal the puncture only through compression in the hole channel and high stickiness. When driving on wet roads, the adhesive impregnation can wash away, leading to water and dirt entering the puncture and causing corrosion of the casing and loss of airtightness.
