The Automatic Center Punch YT-47160 by YATO is designed for quick and precise marking on surfaces such as wood, metal, or plastic. It is particularly useful for marking points before drilling.

The scoring feature facilitates the initial drilling process by minimizing the chance of the drill bit slipping on the material surface, commonly known as drill bit float. The marking is achieved by striking the sharp end of the punch against the workpiece. Unlike traditional marking methods that require a hammer, this tool eliminates that necessity.

This automatic punch utilizes a robust internal spring that drives a hardened steel firing pin, making it easy and efficient to mark materials without the need for a heavy hammer. The spring tension is automatically set; you simply press the firing pin against the material, strike, and then proceed to mark the next point immediately.

The punch also features an adjustable impact force, allowing for customization based on the hardness of the material being marked.

Directions for Use:

1. Position the punch with the sharp end against the material you wish to mark.
2. Apply firm pressure with your hand to make a permanent mark on the surface.
3. Immediately after the mark is made, you can repeat the action to mark another point.
